This conference will be of particular interest to those working in the youth space. Assistant Commissioner Stephen Leane will be addressing the forum on behalf of CCP Ashton addressing youth engagement/offending.
Blue Light Victoria is actively working with key partners supporting Victoria Police with addressing the current climate of unprecedented youth offending and recognises the importance in understanding the precursors to youth criminal activity as well as the drivers of crime. This day will assist in exposing attendees to current research and best practice, as well as providing a sound knowledge of the protective factors which can prevent a young person offending.
The various speakers are experts in their fields and will present on a wide range of relevant topics as well as providing practical techniques and information regarding members own welfare.
This is a valuable professional development opportunity open to all, the cost to attend has been kept to a minimum ($110) to encourage participation.
